Armitage Architecture delivered a $13.2M design-build renovation of a 55,000 sq. ft. two-story barracks at Fort Drum, NY, modernizing the facility to meet the needs of today’s soldiers. The project included full architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection upgrades, energy-efficient envelope improvements, and a new standing seam metal roof. All work was completed with a focus on quality control, safety, and maintaining mission readiness for the 10th Mountain Division.
Armitage Architecture led the $665K design-build replacement of two aging DX cooling systems at Fort Drum’s Monti Gym, delivering a modern chilled water-based HVAC solution. The project included full mechanical system replacement, structural modifications, architectural repairs, and fire-rated wall reconstruction, all in compliance with UFC and DoD criteria. Services encompassed 100% design development, construction-phase quality assurance, and commissioning oversight.
