Armitage Architecture managed the concurrent construction of three major Fort Drum barracks renovation projects—Buildings 10112,10114 & 10122, totaling over $39M in improvements. Executing both projects simultaneously allowed for economies of scale, shared labor resources, and streamlined material procurement. Work included full mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection upgrades, structural repairs, building envelope improvements, and interior reconfigurations, all completed while maintaining strict quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
Armitage served as prime contractor for the $1.3M design-build replacement of boilers, piping, and air conditioning at a 41,200 sq. ft. USACE vehicle maintenance facility in Rotterdam, NY. The project included high-efficiency boilers, Mitsubishi VRF mini-split systems, energy recovery ventilation, and a complete hydronic piping replacement, all performed in an occupied building without disrupting operations. The upgraded systems significantly improved energy efficiency, heating performance, and occupant comfort.
